Standard Bank Policy *******

I opened a Standard Bank Funeral Policy in May 2018 then in October I cancelled it. It came to my surprise that this year they debited from my account claiming that I never cancelled the policy. They asked silly security questions that they said they ask everyone when cancelling the policy. I couldn't remember all those stupid questions, then they told me that I did not cancel the policy because I couldn't remember those questions. My question is why they did not contact me because if the policy was still active it was going to lapse because I couldn't pay for it. But they kept quiet and wait for any deposit made to my account and took whatever was deposited. Its a ****************.
