STANDARD BANK NOT PAYING BACK EXCESS -3 rd complaint

Following up on my complaint, I was contacted again by Standard Bank to inform me that it is not their job to get me excess payment back. Firstly I want to appologise to the lady on the other line, I did lose my temper and raise my voice, but under these circumstances it is difficult to remain composed. I was told it was told or communicated to me that if the insurer can not get my excess back, it falls to me. I do not agree. If I was told this I would have made sure I did it. I would have gathered the info and done it myself. I took a look at my new insurance policy that was sent to me on Friday. Please indicate to me in the fine print where it says I am responsible for my own excess? Nowhere does it say that. Please provide me with proof that I was told this and agreed to it. Like I said if I was told this, I would have done it. How do I even know Standard Bank's legal team made any effort to get my exess. How do I know any work was done at all on it? The person that hit my car was a police officer working at matlosana police station in Klerksdorp. Case nr KHC899s. His Licence nr FWX122NW. Tel nr: ********** 080. Plate nr DVW628NW. How difficult could it have been to find this person? Standard Bank should have had a case nr for the accident? Did you not have all this info? If not, was was this not communicated back to me sooner? Why was it just left?

If I did not contact Standard Bank about this, would you have ever contacted me? My accident was on 8/5/2016. I never heard anything from Standard Bank.

Telling me getting my exess back a year later and pulling up your shoulders in innocence is not solving the problem. Fact is Standard Bank did not deliver me a full service att all. They MADE NO EFFORT to help me, and when I ask for feedback and help to tell me it is my fault? Thank you Standard Bank for no help at all.

I see on my policy there are contact details for ombudsman, I will contact them and file a complaint.
