Standard Bank LifecInsurance is a ****

I took out a life insurance from Standard Bank in 2020 and before I could get tested to ascertain whether I qualified, my bank account was already debited with R318. By the time they sent somebody they had debited my account twice already. I phoned in to cancel the life insurance as the deduction was already suspect and furnished the bank with all the necessities required. I wrote them another email but they ignored it. The sad part is that the bank's call centre cannot stop the debit order either.

However, Standard Bank continues to debit my account despite all these efforts. I feel like this is a marriage made in hell! I'm moving my account to another bank.
