Standard Bank Keeps Debiting My Account For A Vehicle I Do Not Own Anymore - Vehicle Finance Department

Standard bank keeps debiting a payment for a Vehicle that was written off last year November. Miway settled the car in January in which they did but standard bank keeps debiting. They are currently owing me over R21.000 even after tirelessly calling them to sort this matter out. Their consultants always tell me different stories , my last two calls to the bank I was transferred to the vehicle and insurance department to ask for a refund , for the past three months I've been waiting for my refund. STANDARD BANK YOU ARE TERRIBLE. firstly the consultants couldn't tell how much it is that is owed even if it is that there is no shortfall cover. They keeps transferring me back and forth. The first time I noticed they debited my account when my vehicle account was already settled they said it was because my account was still open and it will be closed month end , once it is closed the money will reverse back into my account. WHAT A LIE.!!!! ITS BEEN 3 MONTHS AND STILL NO HELP. THEY KEEP DEBITING , I cannot pay for a car I do not have. I have a new vehicle which I also need to pay for how can I pay when SB keeps taking my money. No consultant is taking accountability for what's happening in my account , I've now taken this matter to Ombudsman and will involve my lawyers because it has gone too far. This is sickening.

A worker at SB said that even if it was that I didn't have shortfall cover , arrangements were supposed to have been made with me but I did not receive a call or even an email from SB , he also mentions that they cannot Debit the same amount as the car installment

Something is fishy. Standard bank is thieving. It's been a terrible 3 months of them sending me pillar to post. I will NEVER EVER RECOMMEND YOUR VEHICLE FINANCE TO BE EVEN FINANCED BY THEM. THEYVE BROUGHT NOTHING BUT MISERY! save yourselves. Please.
