Standard bank Insurance - Worst service of any insurance provider

I have a bond with Standard bank, and when I took out my home loan I also took out building insurance with Standard bank. More than 2 years later I try to submit a simple claim for "white appliance" repair whereby they made it clear that they only cover the call out and and 1 hour's labor and any parts I have to pay for myself. I have no problem with this at all. A technician was sent out to come and inspect my fridge. I was told by the technician that he was not allowed to speak to me. I then followed up with Standard bank weekly for several weeks and their level of service is just non existent. 7 weeks later I still don't know what the technician's finding was and how to proceed with having my fridge repaired. I am tired of following up, wasting my airtime and never being called back. I have now proceeded to cancel my policy from 1 March 2024, but Standard bank should still honor their obligation in terms of my claim. This has truly been the worst I have ever experienced from an insurance provider.
