Standard Bank insurance - worst in the world

Worst Insurer for any home property. *********** people, who uses *********** 3rd parties to do the work. I logged a claim on Thursday morning 11:00 am. Claim was handed over to Gauteng Home Solutions, who was supposed to be at my house this morning at 08:00 am. I tried following up for 2 hours between Standard bank and this company, when i was informed i have to re-submit the claim, because the service provider canceled. After another hour i received an sms about another Gauteng company (GKN Wester Cape) that will handle the claim. I eventually got through to a person who told me they will be at my premises in an hour. 2 hours later, i was informed they had the wrong address, and is about 200km away from me. They confirmed they will be at my house in 2 hours time. 4 hours later, i again tried to follow up, where this company told me i am to far. Standard Bank insurance is useless. I am changing my Insurance to a trusted company, and also switching my home loan to a more trusted company. needles to say, i still have no water in my house. Maybe i must just cancel my installments for the month

No surprise here, no one contacted m3, just like the complaints department did not get back to me. I sent numerous email to the communications.SiL email ddress, with no feedback or call back from SBSA. Eventually after I spoke to a team leader I received a form I must fill in( 2 weeks later) now SBSA only pays me R8132.83 for expenses I had to go on to the value of R10500.00 This could have been prevented if SBSA had decent service providers. This is not even with the hours spent on a telephone and the time spent to sort out an ongoing battle. What scares me the most is that the wrong address was given to a service provider from SBSA. I will certainly move my insurance, which I guess will be another pain.
