Standard bank insurance very bad

Been struggling since end October to get a claim sorted out after damage caused by their contactors. Decided to rather use my own contactor second time around. Had to wait for assesor for weeks. If you don't phone them everyday they just wont do anything. Struggled 3 days to get agreement of loss document out of them. Signed it and they let me know on 1 December that it was authorized and payment processed. Said it will reflect in my account in 48 to 72 hours. Now on 8 December at night it is still not in my account and they just say they released it and basically not their problem if I dont ever actually get the money to do repairs. More than a month later still sitting with damage caused by their bad plumbers. They also take absolutely no responsibility for faulty work done by their own contractors. You have to pay an excess again. They also don't send other plumbers to check the faulty work...they send the same ones that made the mess to "inspect" it. The office lady showed up with a general worker to check as the plumber was sick. Don't ever use their contactors.... but also don't expect a claim to be paid out within a week or three... if ever. They never follow up on anything you have to keep phoning and getting nowhere.
