Standard Bank insurance rubbing salt simpler better than any other bank
Upon my mom's sudden passing , I went to Standard Bank to make a claim with a funeral policy to which I am a premium payer.
I was told by no means will I be able to access the funds as I am not the beneficiary. I tried to explain that it's been more than 10years since I had contact with the beneficiary and don't know if she's dead or alive. I even pleaded that they reserve all other benefits and just pay the funeral pallor, because the arrangements have been made and the longer I keep her at the pallor the more costs I will conquer.
The lady who was said to be the manger gave the perception that she sympathize with me. I am the only child to my mother with no other near relative accept for my children 9,7,1. I was paying this policy because I didn't want added heartache at times like these.
What rubbed salt in my wounds was even after painfully swallowing the fact that my money has gone down the drain, the lady on the other side of the line insisted I shouldn't cancell cause there might be a possibility of her surfacing.
Surfacing Really after more than 10years? When there's no means of contacting her not knowing she's dead or alive? I have been a costumer of standard Bank for more than ten years and have had the policy for more than ten years but they don't give a damn.
