Standard Bank Insurance not repairing all damages after Geyser replacement

4 months after geyser repair (2 Nov) the ceiling has still not been fixed, in spite of refusing to settle for a payout which they then arbitrary made in part months later after deducting another excess for this single event. The green geyser blanket on the geyser was just chucked in the corner and not replaced neither the material wrapped around the pipes refitted to preserve the heat and stay green either. Be it as it may, the response has been lethargic and non existent, as usual I may add. Better not ask a simple polite question & just take what they decide you get is the mantra. Do not even contemplate to stand on your rights as the insured and as per your contract, you'll just get ignored by recalcitrant staff who will quickly "Hi" you, but once they find no substance on their side, will simply just keep on ignoring you. They promised a review, and all they did was pay out a part of the damages much later in an effort to absolve themselves. All I want is for them to fix the consequential damages to the geyser failing, surely this happens all the time and is easy to manage if there is competent staff ?

Reviewing this claim has already been done month(s) ago (no response on this yet!) and this matter is with your Complaint Resolution Centre already for more than a week, no substance in that response either.

Well it has just been re- referred to ***, so it is back into its tailspin. isn't it? Senior staff is always in a meeting or never available whilst junior staff stuff the clients around from pillar to post, not so? This has yet again been an absolute disgrace in half ****ed solutions & promised reviews & come back to you but never do. Last time there was a settlement I had to formally sign a document, this time it was just closed down with a part payment. (since when is the excess all of a sudden applicable for each repairer setting foot on site?)

Standard Bank top kindly and urgently attend to the repair(1), the outcome of the review of the claim(2), the refitment of the green eco blanket & eco strips to the pipes(3), the double excess charged for a single event(4), the reason for the lack of response & repair for 4 months(5) and also why the overflow was taken to the highest point of the property where the water will ingress into the foundations(6) as well as why the geyser was fitted where the trapdoor is so it has to be relocated to access the ceiling from inside(7).

Surely there must be some substance to my complaints? The green eco blanket is clearly seen on the plumbers own photo here & the assessor has confirmed that it has not been refitted.

Also provide me with the assessors report, in conjunction with the claim review report and any other reports you may have from the service providers and others, as there is clearly plenty amiss here.
