Standard bank insurance - not dependable when you actually have a claim.

Pulling my hair out with an insurance claim for a building cover. For months on end now. They haven't responded to my follow ups after registering the claim and submitting quotes for them to review before getting the work done to repair it. Then I got a quote from them on a new policy on another building... and they for some wild reason cancelled my existing policy when I told them I wouldn't take up the new quote. Eventually got some proper support after 10 or so follow up emails and countless hours on the phone... and the lady promised me they would reinstate my policy, and also reinstate the quote and got another department to follow up on the claim... and then AGAIN RADIO SILENCE - NOTHING. I've followed up in writing another 10 times. and no response. to multiple email addressed and the original emails where got the service. Its like a black hole of service.
