STANDARD BANK INSURANCE MOVING YOU BACKWARD

I have a Home and Household Contents policy with Standard Bank Insurance. I am terrified up until the 2nd December because that is when my cover ends. There lack of Service and Professionalism knows no bounds. I reported an electrical fault which blew my Pool Timer (Pool Pump cannot be switched on), Dishwasher and Iron. The Pool problem 2 service Provider later, still not repaired. The cheek of the Service Provider who put in the electrical stuff for the Pool? As she doesn't want to get my hopes up. The Same service Provider told the Insurance they had a Scheduled appointment with me with a time might I add and that was untrue. The Dishwasher repair guy, my word, took my whole Dishwasher apart with water and everything in it remember it blew while in Process. Gives me a Business Card with " Crime Scene Cleanup" on it. Had an appointment for after 2 arrives here after 5 and has the nerve to say I was busy with Supper in his report. He couldn't get the dishwasher out. It is built in but if there is 2 of you it can come out. He says something about the water pump in his report but the Incident assessment clearly states Power Surge as it is on the Same line. Insurance Rejects the claim, reason it is wear and tear refer schedule ..... I replaced the iron and have the receipt to prove, the iron was only 7 months old so still under warranty. I would love to know if my roof blew off would it be rejected because of wear and tear. I am living here 20 years already. The straw that broke the camels bank I get a letter stating that my washing machine is not covered unless I provide Proof oof replacement or repair, The PDF is titled " alarmendor*****t". Moving me Forward sorry I mean Backward.

Reviewer Update
I gave Standard Bank more than the allotted time to respond. Spoke to a Customer Service Specialist, Kirsten Terral who actually could see that the rejection of the Dishwasher was not consistent and took the courteousy to call me and ask for me time.

Sadly, I have had to escalate the matter to the Ombudsmand as the Incident Report received from the Assessor is even more incoherent. He refers to a Tumble Drier. I also requested the report that was sent to Standard Bank from the Assessor which caused them to finalise the claim based on the Age. I have not received the said report even though I have every right to request. The Report from Pool Doctor was received within minutes on my request.

I have sent photographs to Standard Bank and all supporting documentation but still they are sticking to the Rejection when it is as clear as day. Once incident, 3 items blown as a result, 2 repaired/replaced. Why reject the 3rd one?

Sad but true because of the Inconvenience and the time wasting as a Valued Customer.

Verdict stays the same "STANDARD BANK MOVING YOU BACKWARD". Please be careful
