Standard Bank Insurance MOVING BACKWARDS...CHEATING!!!

Pity I cannot give a 0 start rating. Must be the WORST home owners insurance provider in South Africa and 1 of the WORST companies overall (Standard Bank). It took them almost 6 months to "finalise" a serious" storm related claim and if I did not do 95% of the facilitation and driving of this claim, it still would have been far from complete. I've been **** to,, deceived and many times blatantly ignored by just about all involved, from consultants, supervisors, managers, head of assessing and even the CEO. What a pathetic bunch...absolutely no regard for client care, safety of service. Authorised my claim, then few days unauthorized again. Proposed a settlement, then few days later reduced with no reason. Totally manipulated "builder's quotations in order to provide a low as possible settlement. My advice, if you are insured with Standard Bank Insurance (SIL)...MOVE AWAY ASAP!!! You WILL be on the shortest end!! Absolutely pathetic business ethics evident throughout the process!!
