Standard Bank Insurance is Useless

I registered a claim with standard bank insurance on 14 February 2021. The service from day 1 was pathetic. *********** contractors were sent out to find a leak. I eventually found the leak and repaired it. There was a building claim attached to leak claim. 2 assessors came out, 4 contractors consulted on the claim. I eventually did the building with my own contractor as was advised by the call center. The contractors which std bank appointed who failed to fine the leak quoted inadequately for the job. Standard insisted on paying out on their quotation amount even though the work cost me 10 times more. Tried escalating that matter and got no response. I eventually after 6 months agreed to take any amount they deem fit. To date no payment received. I call the call center every day and am told a settlement will be sent on the day. I am still waiting. Standard Bank is useless.
