Standard Bank Insurance is SpearFishing existing Standard Bank VAF members

I receiced 3 x spam SMS messages instructing me to send personal information to a email address. I did not receive a official email or a phone call from Standard Bank, just these potential phishing SMS's.

Now I received a VAF statement showing that Standard Bank Insurance was going to start billing me for car insurance without ever contacting me. I am already insured with another insurer and do not need 2 x policies on the same vehicle.

This is a absolute ******* practise by Standard Bank Insurance to try and sign up additional policies feighning concern that a vehicle financed by them is not insured.
