Standard bank insurance is pathetic. Be warned
After a 10 day fight, standard bank gave me no choice but to take a few cents as a settlement, as they were ***********. They could not or didnt want to spend so much money on me. I only have 4 policies, 1 loan and 2 home loans with them. So who am I? I am still waiting after 2 weeks and 2 days for the resultant damage to be fixed. I have only lodged 2 complaints. I have only placed bad reviews on hellopeter twice and only once tried to contact the ombudsman. But who am I??? I know.... I am the guy you will loose as a client in future and I am the guy that will bad mouth you forever. Dont forget my name please. Thank you for the pathetic service.

04 Mar 2020, 13:54After 19 days, I am told that it will take 8 days more to look at my claim, but that it is not to say that it could be so. In my experience so far, I expect only the worst. IT MAKES NO SENSE. Also when mailing me, they refer to me as S.V. van der Merwe and not by my name, G.G. Du Plessis. What company addresses their clients by the wrong name. It is shamefull and pathetic. The service from you guys if seen on the internet is the same as what I have experienced. All promises and no action. And then so the client in where you can. This job or claim so far has cost me 6 thousand rand out of my own pocket. Sis Standard Bank Insurance. You guys are terrible.
