Standard Bank Insurance is not paying claims

I had a very bad experience with STD insurance. I am more than 20 years with them and claimed only once for a geyser. One month a ago I lost my garage motor that is more than 20 years old due to lighting. Assessor came out and said it is the motherboard, but this is a very old motor and that motherboard is not available anymore and the motor cannot work without the motherboard. After numerous calls they inform me that they are not going to payout for the replacement for the motor but for the price of a motherboard. Their claim is that they must leave me as before the claim and if they going to replace the motor I will be better off. So in their eyes to give me the money of the motherboard it put me on the same place as before the lightning, but I am sure if I pushing the open button, the garage will still not open. They also said to me a year ago that they not going to replace my gate motor because they not covering loadshedding incidents. If anybody reads this, please don't make the same mistake that I made and pay insurance on your house for 20 years to Standard bank. Rather open an account and put your money in there or going with one of the other Insurers. They are very fast to take you money, but they are not really insure you, they just tell you they insure you, but when you think they must pay they are absent.
