Standard Bank Insurance Don't Pay Claims

9 years with Standard Bank Insurance, zero claims history. Been with Standard Bank since I started working. I have completed two home loans with them, thus insurance is mandatory and not a single premium have I missed.

In early February, I registered a geyser claim with them. I called and stayed on the line the entire day, going back and forth from pillar to post. The claims assessor came out and advised me on behalf of the insurance company, that I must at my own expense buy x materials and pay x excess and do x and do x... What??? Standard Bank? Standard Bank Insurance???

After numerous calls, emails, complaints no one from Standard Bank Insurance contacted me. My geyser, it's now March, almost a month after the claim was logged, is still damaged and the consequential damages I cannot begin to assess here.

Standard Bank Insurance, based on my experience, has failed to provide the basic standards of proper, insurance right. Or is it just that they don't pay claims???

Standard Bank Insurance, you should be ashamed of taking my hard earned money, in exchange for a promise of false assurance, as we have established now.

Standard Bank, this is the new standard, may every every ill gotten cent, interest and profit you ******ed from me and those like me waste away in your mouths, and rot in your reserves.

I have cancelled my policy, and for generations as far as my reach of influence goes, no one of mine and related to mine, kin of mine will do business with you.
