My funeral claim was rejected due to no insurable interest when I enquired about who determines the relation of family members the complaint specialist by name of Gugulethu said that they called the daughter of the deceased who happens to be my aunt. I called my aunt heartbroken because we are close and she said nobody from Standard Bank has ever called her. She sent the escalation complaint specialist, Itumeleng an email because she is supposed to be the head of department and solve the issue, instead she returned the matter to Gugulethu who still has not responded to my aunt's email.
