Standard Bank Insurance BAD SERVICE TO BLACK PEOPLE

Hi All My claim number with Standard bank is 25/006916 (Langelihle Ngcobo) On 23 January 2025 our retaining wall fell due to the heavy rain, We called Standard Bank insurance to do a claim and we were advised that the person handling our claim is Trisha who never called us till we made a complain she only called us after 3 months and told us she had alot of queries thats why she hasnt called or emailed us. The funny thing is its been 8 months now no word from Standard Bank to check if we are okay or even safe, every month they are still debiting us but they dont want to help us. But we can see that its bcoz we are black if we were white it would had been a different story till this day they are not replying to us even to our Lawyers. We got this property by Standard Bank .it was surveyed and vetted by Standard Bank , property was deemed to meet all the building regulations and standards by Standard Bank , financed me to acquire this property and insure this property for the inevitable events occurred yet when you need these services the most now being told I am under insured and poor workmanship, isn't that what was supposed to be verified on the first place before selling me this property, Our young ones cannot reside with us anymore, the yard is a war zone, forced to relocate our dogs (security personnel's) as the yard is an open field now. My family's safety and wellbeing are in serious jeopardy after this event; we have two reported incidents with SAPS on attempted burglary and ****** items from our yard. With my line of work always out of town, we live in constant fear subjected to us by Standard Bank Insurance." The offered of R192k tabled forward does not equate the costs of rebuilding my property to its original state and does not even cover half of the expenses. We never wanted monetary compensation; we wanted our house to be rebuilt to its original state, but your team chose to shift all responsibilities to us. The rains are still persisting and it's seriously impacting structural integrity (foundation), but you are so stupid to realize the extent and damaging effects.

The only thing we need from Standard Bank is for them to fix the wall so we can be safe.
