Standard Bank Insurance – ************* and Unreasonable Cancellation Process

Standard Bank Insurance has proven to be ************* and unreasonably difficult to deal with. Their premiums are significantly higher than other insurers, and when you try to cancel your policy, they make the process unnecessarily long and frustrating.

It takes them 8 days just to start reviewing a cancellation request. After that, they delay things further by asking for irrelevant and unnecessary documents—items that are already standard in any new insurance policy. Meanwhile, I’m stuck paying double premiums to both Standard Bank and my new insurer.

This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. It's clearly designed to discourage people from switching and to squeeze extra money out of customers. I will never recommend Standard Bank Insurance to anyone.

Avoid them at all costs.
