STANDARD BANK Home Loans( building Insurance) is a ****!!!!!

I would like to express my dissatisfaction and frustration with the horrible service and unfair treatment i have received from STANDARD BANK regarding my claim for the residential borehole which was not working over the December 13th long weekend.

I called the emergency line and registered a claim with one of the consultants and due to the long weeked and unavailability of the service provider mainly (BOREWOLE SPECIALIST). I was advised by the bank consultant who registered my claim to hire a contractor that to come onsite and ensure that I have water during the long weekend and i did as advised.

She further reiterated that there is an Emergiency fund with a limit of R2000 AND NOW THEY ARE REFUSING TO PAY THE CONTRACTOR AS PROMISED.

On the 7th Jan 2025 i called the bank to find out how far they are with the investigation regarding my claim and they put me on the line for close to an hour with no tangible solution to my enquery.

I am paying Standard bank building insurance on a monthly basis WITHOUT FAIL but each time I need their services I am taken for a ride and this is totally pathetic and unacceptable and a poor service rendering to me as a loyal client.
