Standard Bank Home Insurance *******s

Had home insurance with Standard bank home insurance for the last 17 years. Had a problem with my db board where switches got burnt. The electrician could not say for sure what could have caused it but I had it fixed and submitted the invoice to Standard bank. From the word go, they told me they do not cover power surges. The more I explained that the cause could not be determined, even by the electrical company, the more they used the words "power surge" and declined to pay anything. They will take your money and insist that they are now qualified electricians that know all there is to know about everything. They will find any excuse not to pay. If my house burns down or get flattened by a falling tree, would they pay? I would not risk it to find out.
