standard bank home insurance provides hassles, unreliable cover with no benefits

<p>I bought I house 2 years ago through standard bank. We always make fires in the fire place. On Monday as usual we made a fire and the whole house were full of smoke that we had to get the fire department to assist. When contacting standard bank insurance the consultant was helpful however after several calls to them as they never contact you I was told that they do not cover structural damage. According to them the chimneys wall was not build properly. Do they expect me to break down all the walls to see what the dawn defects are? How was I supposed to no the dawn building has defects? </p>
