Standard bank funeral policy

Took a funeral policy over 25yrs back at SBSA Polokwane Stephen K Thipe about 25 yrs back to be told when i want to put a claim as he passed 5/11/ 2023 that he is not insured but me insured instead. Apparently the bank agrees with me that he is insured but the insurance department disagree. After a very long argument was told that they will investigate and come back to me. They eventual came back after 2days saying they came with a compromise of 10k that i have also disputed as i know for sure that i double insured him(my brother) after the policy was taken to double the benefit knowing that it will cover the cost of the funeral when the time came which sadly did. i didnt go ahead with the claim as i believe i must be paid 33k with 2400 for 6 months. i will be formally lodging a complaint at the banking ombudsman soon as i am still dealing with the loss. it must be noted that i am the premium payer on the policy and my son Tumelo is a beneficiary and he was not even aware because then when the policy was taken he was a minor. i went to borrow money so i can bury my brother . i would like you to intervene to finalize the claim
