Standard Bank finds every reason to reject legitimate insurance claims - worst insurer ever!!

We have been loyal customers of Standard Bank for over 30years. I put in a home owners insurance claim for damages to our fence at our property in Ballito as a result of the recent floods about 3-4 weeks ago. Sent in photos of the damages showing a tree that collapsed onto the fence and broke the picket fence and bank washed away that caused the fence to collapse only to be told by standard bank insurance that their "competent" assessors have concluded that the damage is due to a lack of maintenance of the fence, which incidentally is contradictory to the HOA assessments and the pictures I shared. This is a bank that makes extraordinary claims but refutes and rejects legitimate claims as a result of a "force Majeure" event in the most extraordinary circumstance of human suffering and hardship and even refuses to share the assessor's report or send another assessor out. I wonder why we still bother to deal with such an institution.
