Standard Bank failed to do physical assessment before granting the bond now the telling me the recent damage to property looks like old defects, how will they know if they ****** me by not sending someone to check before?Standard Bank please do justice bef
After buying a house recently with Standard Bank, having put a good deposit upfront,I discovered Standard Bank did not do a physical valuation of the property but rather an automated assessment. This decision showed that the bank did not intend on protecting me as a client or making sure I get the value for my money.Fast forward,my claim 24/015404 has been rejected because when they were supposed to pay they decided to get another assessor to validate my claim even though they had already sent another a month prior. Why is it that they only care to do physical assessment when they have to pay but when it was me they generalised the property within the market value of the neighbourhood but now they telling me the house seemed like it was defected long ago? This is common practice of the bank to the natives.I need the bank to cover the costs for my ceiling, paint, tiles and plumbing because they have evidence it was indeed damaged recently. They coincidentally decided to send someone new to do checkup when I told them I had started doing repairs on my own whilst waiting for the payout.Soon I am going to the newspapers and also using my social powers on this matter if it’s not resolved soon and I get what is due to me. I am also hoping I will move everything to Nedbank within 2 months
