Standard Bank Building Insurance

Unprofessional and pathetic service! I called the bank to cancel my building insurance as I received a better deal on the 19th Dec 2023. The call took long and it’s got cut off and then I sent an email notification immediately. They responded with an email acknowledging my cancellation and undertook to call me. I waited and no one called me for over 5days, I then called again and waited long several times without assistance. I decided to send another email notifying them that I have not received any call from the bank following my notice. To my frustration the bank debited the insurance amount on the 12th Jan 2024, and the new insurance also debited. I sent all the details they required which is the new policy document to the bank, nevertheless they went ahead and debited my account. This is so disappointing and shocking service!!!!!
