SIL unable to link my long standing policy to their new online login system.
Recently I was updating personal details & saw that SIL had changed their website & if you are already a Std Bank Online customer to log in using those details. No problem as I had updated those details, however the response was that "a policy couldnt be linked to the ID". I was shocked because I had submitted claims over the years & more importantly there is a monthly debit order. Still no response to my mail. Absolutely appalled & disgusted - no excuse.

07 Apr 2022, 07:35Actually received a response from SIL & only after filing the complaint on HelloPeter. By the response, it is obvious that my previous communications had been disregarded & they claim 8 days to resolve from this response. Also what has Covid-19 got to do with SIL doing whatever they have done with my policy & then continuing to run a monthly Debit Order. Under these circumstances they should resolve immediately. The writer also disregarded the fact that it is fortunate that logging a claim has not been required but then they dont care either. This is not the 1st time I have had issues with my policy. The previous time they took it upon themselves to change my details & then blamed a system upgrade.
