Short payment on funeral cover claim with a lame excuse .

My Uncle RIchard Muller had a death policy with Standard bank to the value of R 15 000 . He nominated my Aunt his sister Alida Martin as the beneficiary . When we claimed Standard bank forced my aunt to open another policy whihc she did as it look fine at that stage however they took more then 2 weeks to pay out a short payment of R5000 . Their excuse was the policy holder owed 7 payment so now my logic tells me that they where only suppose to deduct the 7 payment and pay out the rest which did not hapend . We as family had to burry my uncle in debt we still owe the funeral undertakers money where as Standard bank phone them toconfirm the relationship of my aunt to the decease and on the day of the funeral . My uncle was a pensioner and his children and life partner did not work . As a family we are shamed and cant even face the undertakers . I am going to facebook and tick tok with this and also to the ombudsman we not getting the money . I am also going to assist my aunt in cancelling the policies she took out with standard bank .
