Shoddy contractor work on insurance claim

We recently had a burst geyser which was moved and replaced. We're unhappy with the state our house has been left in by your contractors:

Untidy work they left behind. Holes in the walls, the old geyser element and geyserwise timer just left hanging there. Didn’t clean up after themselves. They left bits of cables and other parts just lying there.

We now have a thick unsightly black cable running along the exterior walls where there was none before. The work to lay the cable along one of the windows is shocking.

A cracked tile in the bathroom where they drilled a hole. We were told by the plumbers not to worry, the insurance would send out a finisher to plug up all the holes and fix the tile. Nothing's happened.

We were also told by the electricians that they could not use the old geyserwise timer with the new geyser and that they would quote for a new one. That hasn’t materialised. As a result, our geyser is running at a scorching hot temperature 24/7, instead of being on a timer like it used to be. Not good for our electricity consumption!

With the rain, the new drip tray is acting as a collection point for rainwater and the water running off from the drip tray is causing a river of water to flow through our flower bed, which also happens to be close to the foundation of the house – and that can cause it to wear away over time. They need to come back and extend the pipe so that it runs along the length of the wall and into the drain.
