Sent email after email, been in the branch, tried calling the call center. Standard bank just won't cancel the building insurance .
1 full month and still can't cancel building insurance

17 Dec 2022, 19:47I am happy to report after two months - that Standard bank finally cancelled my insurance. I was promised a refund (did not happen), but needless to say happy to have finally resolved this issue. For anyone else who is struggling this is what I did:
* Phoned call center: (Useless)
* Visited a branch: They put me through their call center; lodged a complain and an agent got back to me.
* Emailed : ***
After several back and forth emails they eventually cancelled the insurance (they initially didn't want to cancel unless I get insurance for much greater than the amount I was currently insured for).
