SBSA Insurance not ethical

I am being ****med by SBSA. They wrote off my car and I opted for them to pay the full settlement amount. A payout amount was agreed on and all required documents were submitted to them and now they are telling me I have to wait for the towing company to collect the car to take it to auction before the settle my account. They are now the owners of the vehicle and have been provided with the vehicle registration documents, I fail to understand why I am now part and parcel of having to wait for the car to be collected before they can pay off the outstanding amount. What is my part in all of this? That should be between them and whoever needs to collect the vehicle from where it is, why am I being delayed when I have submitted everything they wanted from me? So what if that towing/auction takes half a year to collect the car and take it to auction, will I then have to wait half a year to be paid? It is absolutely absurd and borderline *****. I am willing to take this to the ombudsman if they continue to want to be *****, I have literally had to call them everyday to get help, they are unbothered and I would not recommend anyone take insurance with them, they only care for themselves and do not know how to take care of their customers. I took for granted when an advisor from Outsurance tried to sell me their insurance asked me what SBSA knows about insurance as they are merely a bank and unfortunately, I see exactly what he meant now. What an emotionally draining week it has been engaging with SBSA and do not wish anyone the unpleasant kind of experience I have had to endure with them!
