Retrenchment cover ****!

I have a personal loan with Standard bank and upon opening the loan account I was offered retrenchment benefit and I accepted. The unfortunate happen and I was retrenched . I sent in the relevant documents to make use of the retrenchment insurance I took out. My application was approved and standard bank confirmed that my loan installments will be covered. I am now being harassed by Nimble Collection to make a payment on the account. I’ve explained numerous times that I’m unemployment and that’s Standard Bank will cover the installments. Nimble Collection is even harassing my wife. Why was my account handed to a collection agency but I had plans in place should the unfortunate happen? Technically I’m not in arrears as the retrenchment insurance that I have should cover whilst I am unemployed Standard bank, is this the type of treatment your customers are getting in their time of need? While I was working my account was always paid on time. Also my credit profile has taken a knock because now it shows that I’m in arrears.

Please sort this out. It’s tough enough trying to find a job in current times, now I have to worry and be harassed by Debt collectors. Update your records, pay my installments as per the insurance cover and get those vultures to stop harassing me please!
