Rejected vehicle claim

I am writing to express my sadness and severe disappointment following my vehicle claim that was unfairly rejected. Firstly i must say the level of service i received throughout the whole process was the worst ever, i registered the claim on the 25/05/2020 and from that day i always had to call in to do follow ups as no one was not willing to do so, some of my follow up emails were at one stage ignored.

on the 29/05/2020 i met up with the assessor and i took him through step-by-step on how everything went which leaded to the accident, he then advised that he was gonna set up a meeting with the driver of the vehicle non the following Monday, that did not happen .i was at one stage told that i am not only the client he is dealing with, i must therefore learn to be patient. that also did not sit well with me. and from there i could tell that my claim is gonna take forever before i can get the outcome regardless of whether i was covered for business or not.

To my Surprise i was also told that i must follow up with the assessor when i was asking for timeline as to when the whole process is gonna take given a fact that the vehicle was covered for business purposes. that one alone enlightened were everything was leading to . when I signed up for this cover i was not informed of any middle-man/Broker that i would be dealing with in the event that i log a claim, that to me forms part of the internal processes which i shouldn't even get involved in .it was therefore very confusing.

When i registered the claim ,i must admit i was very frustrated and not thinking straight because the guy that was driving my vehicle and caused the accident was not cooperating at all .this leaded in inaccuracy of the statement i gave to anyone on the day because of the frustrations.

The following facts are true and can be verified :

1. My vehicle was indeed taken without my permission and a case was opened at the the police station for theft.

2. I (the owner of the vehicle and police holder) was not drunk .

3. My premium are always up to date, even after the accident

It is therefore very unfair of you to hold me accountable for someone who stole my vehicle and drove it under the influence of alcohol, i was not in the vehicle.

Again i made it clear to your appointed assessor that all the other people that were involved were Mfundo's friends, i did not know them. when he interviewed them after sometime he then came back to me said he wants to see me again after almost a month and half. when i met up with him he was a bit harsh to me telling me all the things i missed out and never told him, i understand that, but it still doesn't change or justify the fact that my vehicle was taken without my permission.

I could tell from all those delays that he was constantly looking for any loophole he could possibly get so he can invalidate my claim. on our last meeting he told me that all the other guys told him the honest truth...what do you expect to get from a ********? expect them to admit that they were indeed in breach of the law? really??. and his boss and friends have every reason to defend him. i opened the case and to my surprise he is still not arrested i don't know the reason,

i (the owner of the policy and the client) am only the one misleading you regardless key things that are factually true.

Please retook and this as it is definitely in violation of my right as a client.
