REJECTED CLAIM

I am not happy at all, we purchased a house in April through std bank and insured it with std bank. For the whole process the assessor was of course sent.Heavy rains came in kzn and we noticed the roof was leaking, called our insurer to lodge a claim number 17/079761 only to be slapped in the face with rejection. Why then do we have insurance for such if it will be rejected on baseless reasons, std bank sent the assessor, came up with the premium so what were they insuring if they will reject our claims. I am really unhappy, we feel ****** and we will have to look for other insurers.
