POOR SERVICE ON INSURANCE FROM STANDARD BANK

The rating should be Zero. After 18years living in a house that we always tried to maintain, we made 3 claims on our roof. The first one, the Contractor phoned and said the claim was approved. Then after about 3 weeks thereafter, they called us to say, the Bank's insurance didn't approve the claim and that we must pay for the complete workmanship. We'll, this was my first encounter, I couldn't believe. The second time, I made a claim, the Contractor came out and sent information through. Nobody, Not the Contractor or the insurance came back to say that our claim wasn't approved. Today, 22/05/2025, when I phoned about that claim, and to make another claim, the 3rd one, the insurance told me the claim wasn't approved, due to Maintenance Not done. But i made a claim and the Contractor appeared to check out our roof. Now with our wind in Port Elizabeth, we can't control that and i believe the whole city would agree with me. We can apply new *****s to our roof today and if the wind blows tomorrow, the *****s could come lose again. That is the kind of Gale force winds we experience in PE. Yesterday and the day before, the wind was very very Gale forced. It blew one of my Ridge covers off, from one side of the house to the other side of the house. I felt like a brick was thrown on our roof. Yesterday, actually last night, 21/05/2025, it rained, and it was raining last night, and that's what I tried to explain to the consultant on the phone, that i am afraid it'll rain. It's exactly what happened. Earlier, I received a call from the consultant, a Mr Marokka, don't know how to spell it, but he explained to me that the Claim was NOT Approved, due to maintenance. 3 Claims they Disapproved and was due to maintenance. Why are we paying insurance to Standard Bank Insurance? They make all their excuses to Maintenance,even if you're doing maintenance. I have had it with Standard Bank insurance, and i wouldn't advise anyone to take out a Bond or insurance with Standard Bank. We are sleeping with an open roof, where we have 2 Grandchildren, one 2years of age and the other 5 years old, in Grade R. Is this REAL? No Compassion, Nothing!!! South Africa, do you think this is Good???
