Poor service on claims

Be very careful when taking insurance with Standard Bank. Service is absolutely shocking when you need to claim. I had a burst pipe which flooded my house and caused ceilings to collapse. 3 weeks into the claim and I'm still waiting for them to approve and finalize suppliers. Promises of sending forms and managers calling back never transpires. I would not recommend them to anyone. Their managers seem to be just so lethargic, always in a "meeting" with promises to get them to call afterwards. I will furthermore be moving my insurance to another provider who knows what they are doing.
