Poor service , bad insurance company

<p>Good day<br />My husband contacted your home owners insurance department. Our washing machine outlet pipe ( which is built in the wall of the house) was blocked and with washing machine doing a load the water backed up and went all over the water floor going into the lounge. The lounge has newly renovated laminate floor. The laminate flooring has now started to bubble. <br />Im so disgusted by your call center as they say they can't help as its a exclusion. I read the policy and no where does it say this exluded. I want to speak to someone higher up and want a copy of policy highlighted as were it states this is not covered. <br />If I don't get a response from this message or my husband email, I'll take this to the Ombudsmen. I will also look at changing insurance. <br />I can't believe a pipe that is built in the building can not be covered.<br />Disgusted with Standard bank home owners insurance<br />Disappointed in Standard bank</p>
