Poor, horrible, terrifiying service

<p>Hi</p> <p> </p> <p>I change my vehicle insurance company to Standard bank two months back. They were said to be the best and cheapest car insurance ever and so i joined happily cancelling the old one. Until today... my car brokedown with a clutch failure and i tried to call SB insurance brokers several times with only operators transfering me from one to the other and the music on the phone while my airtime being finished. I stood on the roadside for over 2 hours only trying to get through to their roadside assistance. All their operators were just usesless and clueless bunch of snobs who knew nothing and just tranfered me from one operator to the other. My last attempt was to call their head office directly but guess what the same music, same dumn operator and same waiting. I eventually made a consious decision that i will cancel my policy with them with immediate effect tommorow. They are a bank afterall, how could i have been so stupid - its all about money to them - they feel nothing towards the stranded alongside the road, hence they dont even have an option on the line for "accident and roadside assistance" like normal insurance companies have. They are a bank and their core business is loans and interest rates - clearly not insurance. When i managed to speak to a gentleman named: Tebogo, he immediately took my number and promised to get back to me... and i sure that 2017 will end as i wait for that call. So to be sweet and short. Here is lessons learned: Lesson 1: NEVER INSURE WITH BANKS ESPECIALLY STANDARD BANK. Lesson 2: TEST AN INSURANCE BEFORE SUBSCRIBING BY CALLING THE EMERGENCY NUMBERS AND MEASURE THEIR RESPONSE. Lesson 3: DONT BE FOOLED BY LOW PREMIUMS. Lastly, standard bank monthly debit orders CAN ONLY and ONLY be debited on the 1st of Every Monthly....really!!! How convinient...!! This bank is reallly advanced to times and technology and customer care.....try it, its tested!!! RESULTS: Extremely Poor - beyond gabbage!! Underated</p>
