POLICY CANCELLED 1DEC, BUT STILL TAKING PREMIUMS

<p>December 1st I cancelled my insurance with Standard Bank via telephone (Poliswa) and email ********** I phoned the 15th of December to confirm as I have only had BAD service from the insurer. Paul confirmed it was fine. I again sent an email to be sure. January and February they still deducted premiums. When I phoned I was told the cancellation was not yet done. Email after email they now say they don't have our correct address at the one department, and have to send an assessor to the house first before they can cancell the policy???? We took out a home loan with Standard Bank. They registered the home loan WITH the address. They and their insurers were happy to take money every month for the home loan AND the insurance. NOW they are querying this, because of incompetence at the one department.</p> <p>This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.</p> <p> </p>
