Please assist to resolve this matter.

I am so ****ed off by the prejudice I got from Standard Bank Insurance policy no HLB*** Claim no 23/***1681 due to the geyser that burst 3 times in my house due to ************ *********** , unknowledgable , service providers they send to my house. Here are the sequence of events as they unfolded .

13th June 2023- The new claim was registered, the plumber was appointed on the same day and the repairs to the geyser were attended on the same day. The builder was also appointed on the same day, the assessment was also done on the same day. 15th of June 2023- The builder’s quotation was received and approved. 26th of June 2023- the geyser was reported to have burst for the second time. 30th of June 2023- The geyser burst again for the 3rd time and lead to a huge damage .The Dakalo plumbers were send again but went to plumblink to look for someone who specialises with the solar geyser then send Collins Mothoa plumbing service who fixed the geyser who is not even on the Standard Bank panel . The bank claimed to have communicated with the insured and attended to the geyser. The ceilings were reported to have fallen as well. 13th of July 2023- The revised quotation from the builder was sent to the internal assessor project managing the *** of July 2023- A follow up was done with the assessing team, with elaboration on why there were further damages(Due to the second and third burst of the geyser) and more damages were reported as well- Builder was send out again for a revised quote. 28th July 2023- The electrician was appointed for damages reported to wiring when the geyser burst for the second time and third time because some plugs burst . 19th of September 2023- The builder claim to have completed the repairs but the following defects were still and are still vissible to date . 1. Broken light in some parts of the rooms fitted as damaged as they are . 2. Light Shades are not put back as they were . 3. Downlights holes are still opened and loose . 4. Some Electricity plugs not working . 5. Slab on the verandah peeling off paint due to lack of damp seal used or waterproofing not done . 6. 1st entrance door scarfed poorly and damaged , not well aligned leaving space for the light to be visible from inside , allowing insects , mosquitos and dust to enter the house . Poor workmanship still vissible on the outside at the back side of the house because the builder came back on a rainy day and force to repaint which left eye- drops on the walls . 7. Sewer pipe cover poorly done , side boards affected by hot water not replaced . 13th October 2023- The carpenter was appointed. The build in wardrobes has been replaced but the cornishes are left open . They also left the granite tops in the kitchen opened between the side granite tops and the units. 17th of October 2023 - Reported overheating of the geyser . This occurred after I found the same contractors Jerry Nare foreman who was left to work on the property , tampering with the DB board because we are off the grid and it was cloudy so when they used their drills and tools the power went on and off , and they did not have a back up alternative plan . He pulled up the geyser circuit breaker which extracted power from the solar batteries which led to overheating . Dakalo plumbers were then send to the site but instead send the Collins Mothoa plumbers who removed the themostat from the solar geyser which is now working properly till this day . 24th of October 2023- The electrician completed the repairs but still electricity is not working properly. 2nd of November 2023- The request for cash settlement for built in cupboards was finalised- The carpenter had already bought material and they were provided go-ahead for repairs. 21st of November 2023- The insured complained of poor workmanship from the builder- This was reported to the internal assessor. The builder came but still did a poor job. 22nd of November 2023- A second builder was appointed to address the workmanship issues and solar batteries and inverter issues , but had not heard from the bank since . 28th of November 2023- A final report from the internal assessor was received- authorising a cash settlement to tiles(As per my request)- The Agreement of loss form was sent to the insured on the same day to finalise the claim for tiling and replacement of 1 exterior main front door which I fixed myself . 5th December 2023- The carpenter had not completed the repairs because the contractors were no longer aloud to work , The estate had closed for the Christmas holidays but they came back after thd 8th of January 2024 to complete the work . The bank reported after I lodged a complaint to say on the 5th of December they send the second builder who also completed the repairs- rectifying the work done by the first builder. This is a blaitant lie . The builder was sent to assess the work and the solar system but was never approved. On the 5th of January the bank offered the agreement of loss for the sum of R28,592.45 for 4 bedrooms , closet and 3 bathrooms to be tiled , of which I spent a lot more plus minus R25 000 from my pocket for labour , delivery of material and running costs and R15,000 to replace the exterior door . On the 21st of January when I check progress on the outstanding damages the bank told me that they have closed the case and will send the same builder who cannot do the work properly to fix the cornishes . As for the contents and furniture of the house that is damaged they said once they are done with the repairs they will send the matter to supply chain to attend to the matter since Dakalo plumbers failed to resolve this issue. Attached please see the contents of the claim laid to the plumbers below but they are ignoring my calls also :- INCIDENT DESCRIPTION This serves to inform you that our geyser burst on the 11th of June 2023.It was then reported at Standard bank Insurance limited whereby they appointed Dakalo plumbers and electrical to assess the situation under the reference 23/047909.They came on the 12th of June 2023 to replace the geyser then it burst again on the 17th of June 2023 .On the 19th of June 2023 the plumbers came back again to fix .On the 27th of June the geyser burst again and water was gushing out in the passage through the ceilings and walls. The ceilings in the passage, middle bedroom,2nd bedroom, third bedroom ,master bedroom , built- in walking closet, balcony have been damaged and have fallen down ,The linen cupboard on the passage is destroyed and damaged.

There was about a thick plus minus 7 centimeters of water flowing on the whole house .This affected tiles on most of the rooms as a result they are broken.Walls of almost the whole house are affected by dampness .Tiles on the staircase are now loose .Staircase side lights are affected by water. Slab on the Kitchen is affected .Electricity Plugs of most of the house are affected by flooding water. The slab on the downstairs verandah also has water marks which may in the long run pose a challenge . The built- in wardrobes at the bottom part are affected by water,The kitchen units at the bottom also affected as all the water flooded towards the kitchen and flowed to the washing machine. Wooden floor on the family TV room is damaged by water.Lights in the middle room fell and got damaged .2 Single beds ,linen bed covers, pillows ,Accounting books, laptop were damaged by water.

Eventually On the 3rd of July 2023 Standard bank insurance sent the Electrolux service to check if the problem was not warranty related .We have suffered an emotion and are inconvenienced greatly .
