Paying bond but no house due to a very bad service.

A very bad service also confusing kind of business Std bank do. We lodge a claim on the 6th Jan 2018 of broken door, ****** bathroom and wiring of the house. It took them 6 months to pay claim after we told them that the roof is gone. They advise us to open a second claim which they declined reason being we were suppose to put in security, which we did in first 3 months and we couldn't for longer since the cost was too much for us as they were dragging feet. The house was vandalised to the ground, we informed them that we want to sell the plot because there was no house anymore, their response was they can't stop us from selling the plot. As we were strugling to sell the plot we ask if they can assist, they told us that they have a department that deals with that, we called the department and they sent their assessor to evaluate the place and that was the last time to get response from them. We then got ourselves an agent to help us sell the plot, we got a cash buyer that was willing to buy the place at his offer and we did not have a problem to pay the shortfall. The agent also informed the bank that we will pay the shortfall, after the deal procces was done they then started debiting R299. 00 for two months and we called them to ask what was that for and they did not know, we then asked what was the balance after the cash sale, the amount they gave us was the same amount of the price that we bought if for after ten years. They then declined the offer requesting a full amount. We did not know how to deal with standard bank anymore because they showed no signs of meeting us halfway with every solution that we came up even though they Never stop debiting the bond and we never failed to pay tham. Since 2018 we've been paying for the house that we don't have and all they want is money. When you call, they always shift you from one person to another, never had solution, never bother to come back for feedback, don't even worry about complaints. ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY FROM YOU NOTHING ELSE. The consultants you ask them questions and can not unswer you and tell you they gonna ask the manager and call you back but they will never.

We have never had such a bad service anywhere else.
