Pathetic service from standard bank life insurance

When one signs up for life insurance they should be informed of the period of time it takes to process a claim. My experience with standard bank life insurance has been quite an experience. The claims manager makes statements/promises which she doesn't stick to and to add insult to injury she doesn't even apologize! I wonder how friendly the agent was that signed up my father. Seems like these companies make the friendly people sign u up and give you the rudest people this side the equator to deal with a claim.He passed away in March 2020 and the claim is still not sorted out. Does it really take that long to finalize a claim?
