Pathetic service

I am so disappointed with standard bank. I recently claimed my funeral insurance last week. I had missed 3 premiums. Upon my claim I was told that they will deduct the three premiums on my claim and a "slight percentage". By "slight percentage" I thought it would be a few hundreds, to my surprise they too half of the claim a day before the funeral. I was so shattered and confused. I've had the policy for over a year and a half for them to penalize me like this. I took the policy so that I could give my grandmother a dignified funeral. This company has no shame. I will not rest up until I make them trend. Is this even legal??
