PATHETIC INSURANCE WHO TAKE YOUR PREMIUMS BUT FAIL TO PAYOUT ON LEGITIMATE CLAIMS.

After almost 4 months since April flood damage claim we finally managed to find out that standard bank has a claim department with handlers that can bearly even adjust a claim. After months of chasing them they eventually revert with a claims rejection based on defect in design and maintenance without any further substantiation. They rely on experts report as a basis of rejection however experts confirm that the claim should be accepted and payed. Despite us providing reasons in their experts report they fail to read and acknowledge what our response and eventually revert with the same nonsense "that the claim is partially rejected". They choose to payout on the smallest claims to avoid the bigger claims and call it a partial settlement. We have yet to hear from the claims manager, not sure if one exists to be honest. Poor treatment of customers seems to be the general tread when it come to Standard Bank Insurance. SO MUCH FOR TREATING CUSTOMERS FAIRLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
