Outstanding service from the staff of Standard Bank Insurance

I recently tried to apply for a bond only to find out that an instalment I was paying to Standard bank insurance was still appearing on my bureau even though the policy has been cancelled for a year now!

I requested a cancellation letter, and because of technical issues I could not get it on the same day and nobody could guarantee when I would receive it. I spoke to Nompumelelo Nkabinde from SBIB who assured me that they would do all they could to get the letter send to but for two days nothing came through.

After explaining the urgency of the matter, I had only a few days left to secure the bond application, Nompumelelo did all she could to try and assist and with the help of Shamiela Thompson we were able to get a letter and forward it for my Homeloan application to be relooked.

I am so grateful for the assistance these two ladies, Nompumelelo was a pleasure to work with and showed empathy when dealing with this request.

What was an unpleasant experience with SBIB, was turned around by the staff of Standard Bank.
