I would 100% advise that you DO NOT use STD bank home insurance - I have been trying since 22 July to cancel our policy as we have moved it over to our broker portfolio - I have called, sent my documents and multiple emails and not ONE response to confirm the documents are correct and our policy will be cancelled. And when you call- they tell you to email. We are now paying 2 policies for the same thing. This will be the second month we are paying 2 policies. Its been over 30 days and we refuse to pay STD bank again for the policy and will be wanting a refund should they debit our bond account again for the payment. Utterly shocking and useless service. Not even a response from their COMPLAINT department. We are now looking at simply moving our bond to another bank. So frustrating.
