Not keeping the customer informed.

Recently I completed an online application for a credit card. Additional documents were requested which I submitted timeously. E-mail received that it has been approved. Today I called to enquire as to when the card will be ready for collection as the time frame given was 5 -7 working days, after repeating myself 3 times I finally get told that the consultant is on leave and it seems like the card has not been ordered. Now waiting for somebody to call me.....
