NEVER INSURE WITH STANDARD BANK

<p>we had a shower door break. an assessor comes pass, advises my cubicle is an import which i bought from Tile africa and is no longer available. after numerous call we had to make, we received a decision. This is the strange part, our excess is R750 and their quote was 1100. the quote and estimate they received is from the supllier who says that the glass is not available and he cannot do the job. but he quoted anyway. so i they want to pay us out R300. as a client we have the option to accept a cash settlement or have the work carried out by the SP. the lady i spoke to says that she is willing to pay us the R300, but the person who quoted on the job cannot do the install, cmon Standard Bank - we are not fools. so where does he get his price from? during this time there is water all over our floors and the tiles will be lifting soon. due to their delay - we there is resultant damages which they will have to pay for. honestly - never insure with these *********** people. summary: a contractor quotes on a job he cannot do.</p>
