Losing faith in Standard Bank

I called the Standard Bank Home Loans division yesterday at 08:02am. I spoke to a gentlemen as I needed my latest home loan statement emailed to me which was done. I then wanted to know when my next debit will go off and how much for. The consultant advised that it would be on 25th November. However the debit amount he confirmed was different to what Standard Bank messaged me. I received an sms on Tuesday, 27 Oct 2020 stating that my next debit for my home loan is R8253,62. However the system reflects that I am liable and will be debited for more than R8800. I consultant couldn't give me a definite answer as to why there was conflicting amount. I explained to him that I was concerned as there was a R500 difference in the 2 amounts and I didn’t want to have a returned debit order if I didn’t have sufficient funds in my bank account. The consultant then asked me to wait and see what happens when the debit goes off. I am really beginning to lose faith in Standard Bank as I am not happy with the feedback I am getting. The world is going through a pandemic and millions of people are experiencing financial difficulties, I don’t have monies to leave in my bank to wait and see how much I am debited? Also why would I receive an sms stating that my debit will be R8253,62 but when I call the call centre I am told otherwise? Is it possible for anyone to assist and provide clear answers?
